SPLISH SALONS: “GREEN IS FOR EVERYONE”
KEYSTONE, CO JANUARY 1, 2009 - Despite the political wrangling about developing new energy sources and the amount of investment it will take, Splish Salons are educating their staff and guests today on what they can do right now to care for our planet. From the use of sustainable and energy efficient building materials to the quality of hair care products they use to purchasing renewable energy credits and conserving energy every way possible. According to Splish franchise director, Emily Logsdon, Splish is making sure that as a small business, “steps are being taken to involve and educate our communities and to continue our own learning process along the way. Since not everyone can afford to own a wind farm, we want our communities to know that there are many more small things that can be done ‘now’ with little effort or cost”.
Environmentally friendly and socially responsible practices are for everyone and everyone needs to play an active role if we are to control global warming and the excessive use of fossil fuels, extraneous water usage and we need to implement recycling everywhere. Additionally, small businesses such as Splish need to and will lead the country in the creation of new, green jobs thus creating an ongoing platform to involve and educate every citizen in the U.S. and around the globe.
Not every step needs to be a big one but according to Ms. Logsdon, if we can all take small steps together the combination of these steps will help create a more sustainable world for generations to follow: It’s a Green ThingTM and it’s going to take everyone from all walks of life to turn the tide towards a greener, more sustainable world for all of us to live and thrive in.
About Splish Salon Systems

This is such a very good salon. Only a few are eco-friendly and really don't care much about our mother earth. If I am to build my own business, I'd definitely franchise with you guys.
