Amazing Athletes Doubles in Growth, Despite Economic Meltdown
Carlsbad, CA - March 5 2009 - With the welcoming of their 29th franchise in Jan. 2009, Amazing Athletes, Inc. experienced a doubling of franchise growth by the beginning of the new year, despite the national economic challenges. As the Amazing Athletes franchise continues to grow, so will their need for employees. Currently, Amazing Athletes has established franchises in 11 different states and many franchise owners are now looking to hire more coaches to help teach their program in early childhood facilities.
Created in 2002 by Janee and Glen Henderson, the Amazing Athletes program is an action packed 50 week curriculum taught in childcare facilities all over the U.S. The program introduces children, between the ages of 2 to 6 years old, to nine different sports while helping them develop the fundamentals of physical fitness, muscle development, fine and gross motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Their proven program as well as their well- structured corporation has captured the attention of 29 franchise owners, 17 in 2008 alone, earning them the America's Hottest Franchise Award, a listing in Entrepreneur Franchise 500 Magazine and dubbed one of the Best Franchise Business Review's top 50.

In 2001, while in search for a suitable preschool for their children, the Henderson family pondered with the idea of introducing a developmental sports program in preschools. After a year of concentrated research, the Amazing Athletes program was launched in 2002. Developed by Chiropractor Dr. Janee Henderson and sports coach husband Glen Henderson, an action packed 50 week curriculum was designed in order to introduce children to the fundamentals of physical fitness, muscle development, fine and gross motor skills and hand eye coordination, with the incorporation of a variety of different ball sports. In 2003, the program was introduced into 11 schools in Orange County Southern California and made an immediate impact. Today the Amazing Athletes program is taught in over 271 preschools throughout southern California and the corporation currently operates 23 franchises located all over the U.S. and continues to grow.
