Amazing Athletes Teams Up With Children’s Charity
Carlsbad, CA — April 2 2009 — As the U.S. faces some of its toughest times since the Great Depression, these economic hardships will not deter Amazing Athletes plans to team up with the reputable global charity K.I.D.S. Founded in 1985, Kids in Distressed Situations (K.I.D.S.) is a charitable organization dedicated to alleviating poverty conditions among children and their families as well as providing relief assistance following major disasters. For the last 23 years, K.I.D.S. has pioneered a unique charity model aligning hundreds of companies with more than one thousand leading local agencies in the United States and Canada.
Amazing Athletes established their initial relationship with K.I.D.S. early this week with their donation of over 100 children's tee-shirts to the Orange County Rescue Mission Center, an affiliate agency of K.I.D.S. However, this is only the beginning. Amazing Athletes is working with their franchisees to coordinate free classes and clothing drives for local agencies in their areas. Also, for every new student enrolled in the Amazing Athletes program, Amazing Athletes will donate 1 free t-shirt on a quarterly basis.
"We see the joys of what it is like to help children everyday through our program," said Amazing Athletes Co-Founder Glen Henderson. "Yet, the opportunity given to us by K.I.D.S. to help children who are in dire need of assistance is truly rewarding."

About Amazing Athletes, Inc.
In 2001, while in search for a suitable preschool for their children, the Henderson family pondered with the idea of introducing a developmental sports program in preschools. After a year of concentrated research, the Amazing Athletes program was launched in 2002. Developed by Chiropractor Dr. Janee Henderson and sports coach husband Glen Henderson, an action packed 50 week curriculum was designed in order to introduce children to the fundamentals of physical fitness, muscle development, fine and gross motor skills and hand eye coordination, with the incorporation of a variety of different ball sports. In 2003, the program was introduced into 11 schools in Orange County Southern California and made an immediate impact. Today the Amazing Athletes program is taught in over 271 preschools throughout southern California and the corporation currently operates 23 franchises located all over the U.S. and continues to grow
